Sixers officially sign Iguodala

We first reported on this last week, but last night the deal became official. The Sixers lock up Iggy for the next 6 years for a cool $80 mil (although according to Sixers.com "terms of the deal have not been released").

So with this deal official, here's how the Sixers roster is shaping up for 2008-09:

With Jason Smith out for the season, the Sixers will look to pick up another contributor off the bench at the center position. Other than that hole, it looks like a pretty solid roster. Things do look a little crowded at the 3, however. I can't imagine Mo not tinkering with rosters a bit to have Thad and Iguodala in the starting lineup together.

Like I said, I'm sure there are a few small moves still to come from Ed Stefanski, but in less than a year at the helm he's done a hell of job compiling a competitive roster. I can't wait to see this squad in action. Do you believe the Sixers season is just a little over 2 months away?
